WOLFVILLE, N.S. — Acadia pulled off a thrilling 3-2 victory over Memorial on Nov. 1, 2024, at Stu Aberdeen Court, edging out Memorial in a tightly contested match.
Memorial took an early lead, winning the first set 25-23, but Acadia rallied to take the second set 25-21. The Sea-Hawks bounced back to claim the third set 25-19, before Acadia evened the score again in the fourth set, 25-22. In a decisive fifth set, Acadia emerged on top, 15-11.
Courtney Hodder and Lydia Grawer were standouts for Memorial. Hodder recorded 15 kills and 11 digs, while Grawer contributed 15 kills and 18 digs. Alexia Lemay-Evans led Acadia with 13 kills and 12 digs.
