(SACKVILLE, NB) The Mount Allison Mounties men's soccer team returned to Alumni Field on Sunday afternoon to play host to the Saint Mary's Huskies through rainy conditions in Sackville.
The visitors would get off to the start they wanted as Sean Freeman found the back of the net in the 9th minute to give Saint Mary's the 1-0 lead. Neither team was able to capitalize for the remainder of the first half, and this would be the scoreline at the break.
The Huskies would be the beneficiaries of an own goal off a corner kick in the 57th minute to double their advantage. Colby Mercer would score the final goal of the match, a penalty kick in the 77th minute.
