Clements (Stéphanie Léger, Alyssa Nolan) registered her team on the score board at 2:49 of the first period with an accurate shot that thwarted goalkeeper Audrey Berthiaume who faced 16 shots. Éric Plourde (Alexia Desforges, Élodie St-Jacques) then levelled the score two minutes later on the power play, taking advantage of a group of players in front of the net to shoot. Clements (Ruby Loughton, Lexis Murphy) late in the second period scored her second and the winner, taking advantage of a moment of inattention to find the back of the net.
