On behalf of the Board and our staff, welcome to the 2017 U SPORTS Annual Meeting and Conference.
The past year has been a transformational one, following the rebrand of our organization. Today, we have a new name, a new mark, and a new shared vision. We are looking forward to a productive week of review, discussion, and planning for the future of university sport in Canada.
As was the case last year, we will be having guest speakers, workshops and round-table discussions on Monday (beginning at 12:30 PM), Tuesday and Wednesday, with the formal ANNUAL MEETING taking place on Thursday between 8:30 AM and 12:30 PM. We collected feedback from our membership after last year’s event and are incorporating that feedback into the schedule this year - while we will still be bringing in reputable guest speakers whose experiences and insights can benefit our university sport system significantly, we are prioritizing group discussion by our members regarding topics that are of particular and timely importance to our members.
These are exciting times in the U SPORTS landscape and the organization’s Board of Directors and Staff are excited to work with our Members as we continue to grow stronger together. It is our hope that all members will arrive for the sessions Monday and stay through to the Annual Meeting Thursday.

TRADESHOW
As we continue to look for ways to elevate the U SPORTS Annual Meeting and Conference, the Tradeshow has been a particular area of focus. A growing element of the conference over the past couple of years, this year's iteration of the Tradeshow has brought together 30+ vendors all offering unique and innovative ways to help improve and create efficiencies for our membership. We hope that you take the time to network and explore the variety of companies at this year's show.
