The Acadia Axemen set a Vanier Cup record by rushing for three TDs en route to a 34-12 win over Western.

Jed Palmaci led the Axemen with 81 yards on the ground and quarterback Mike Cosgrove had a sterling day, completing 14 of 17 passes for 176 yards and a touchdown, to Ted Morris winner Dan Ross.
