1967 Vanier Cup Game Recap
1967 – Alberta 10 McMaster 9
Alberta squeaked by McMaster 10-9 in the first Vanier Cup game for the CIS National Championship.
Both schools displayed strong defence, but Alberta quarterback Terry Lampert managed a rushing touchdown to help bring the Cup to Alberta.
Golden Bears interim head coach Clare Drake went on to guide Alberta to the CIS men’s hockey title later in the season.
