SAULT STE MARIE - Traveling north to open the 2022 season, the Brock Badgers knocked off the Algoma Thunderbirds in a 5-1 road victory this past Friday.

The Badgers offence impressed with Sabrina Bisante scoring the first and last goals of the match. Joining her on the scoresheet were Kyra Eaton, Brianna Bishop, and Makenna Williamson who each notched a goal in the explosive season opening performance for Brock.

Veteran Brock keeper Emma Hendrie registered three saves in the win.

Before welcoming fans for the Brock home opener this coming Sunday, Sept. 11, the women's soccer team will first travel to Windsor to face the Lancers on Friday, Sept. 9. Kick-off is scheduled for 6 p.m.
