Dalhousie University Tigers (3-5-0=6pts, 6th position) goaltender Fabiana Petricca handled 54 shots on goal to register a shutout and help her team to a 4-0 win over Université de Moncton Aigles Bleues (2-6-0=4pts, 7th position), Saturday in an Atlantic University Sport women's hockey game at the J.-Louis-Lévesque Arena.

Kennedy Whelan, on the power play in the first and Autumn Moors, in the second, had given the visitors a 2-0 lead. Danika Phillips and Lauren Ellerton, in an empty net during a penalty kill, completed the scoring during the third period. The local Blue and Gold team dominated 54-13 in shots on goal, including 18 in the first and 22 in the third periods. Audrey Berthiaume suffered the loss. Moncton was 0 for 8 on the power play and Dalhousie, 1 for 4.

It was the second shutout loss in as many days for the Blue and Gold team. The power play could not produce a goal against the Tigers defence. Moncton will visit University of Fredericton Reds, Friday and hosts the St. Thomas University Tommies, Saturday.
