Université de Moncton tied Dalhousie 1-1 in men's soccer action on October 7 at Wickwire Field.

Université de Moncton first year midfielder Wyliam Sydavong-Ok (Carignan, QC) scored first with the assist coming from fourth year striker Mohamed Lamine-Touré (Moncton, NB) early in the game. Dalhousie managed to even the score in the 30th minute when second year striker Luke Berryman (Halifax, NS) slotted home a penalty kick.

Both teams came out of halftime playing aggressively and Dalhousie goalkeeper Aiden Rushenas (Toronto, ON) made several good saves to keep the score knotted up. Tempers began to flare late in the second half and three yellow cards were handed out between the two teams.

As the clock ticked down, Moncton made its final push for victory with a corner kick in extra time, but ultimately came up short. The game featured both teams playing spirited defence which lead to the tie.

Dalhousie's Berryman earned Subway player of the game honours as his goal helped keep the Tigers in the game.

Dalhousie moves to 3-1-3 on the season while Moncton moves 1-1-3, just two points out of a playoff spot.

Moncton returns to action on Saturday night when the travel to Saint Mary's to play the Huskies for the second weekend in a row. Dalhousie plays host to Saint Mary's in their next game on October 14. Kick-off is scheduled for 7:15pm.
