It was back-to-back loses to the Lions for the Voyageurs. The Voyageurs had a great first quarter Voyageurs with Bailey Tabin dominating the Lions in the paint getting 6 points and were leading by two going into the second. The Lion's offensive in the second was incredibly effective getting to the free-throw line and converting on 7 out of their ten shots. Turnovers became a probably for the Voyageurs during the second turning the ball over 4 times. The game was 36-31 in favor of the Lions.
The third starts with both teams trading baskets followed by a 6-0 run by the Voyageurs cutting the deficit to one. The ball movement and the points in the paint were the main focus for the Voyageur's offensive in mounting a comeback.
Unfortunately, it was not to be and the Lions started off with fourth with an 8-0 run and never looked back.
The Voyageurs' record is now 6-6 and has a chance to bounce back and get a win against the Ryerson Rams on Saturday, March 5th.
