Sydney, NS-  The undefeated CBU CAPERS survived a scare and came back from a 1st-half deficit Tamara Brown (Whitby, ON) scored the only goal of the first half (24') set up by Becky Hanna (Howie Centre, NS).  Lysianne Trottier  (Barrie, ON) made 6 saves for the victory and another clean sheet. With the win, the CAPERS have clinched 1st place and secured a bye into the semi-finals.

Turning point – The CAPERS and Tigers battled the wind all afternoon and CBU took advantage of having the wind on their side in the first half to pressure the Tigers and get the goal they needed. The CAPERS played defensively the second half into the wind and held the Tigers at bay the rest in the rest of the game. Trottier made the tough saves she needed to make in the second half.
