(FREDERICTON, NB) The UNB REDS rode a pair of first half goals to a 3-0 victory over the visiting Mount Allison Mounties, in Atlantic University Sport men's soccer action on Thursday night.

Keji Adeniyi (London, UK), Roan Saengmeng (Charlottetown, PE) and Luke Rosettani (Kanata, ON) all scored highlight-reel goals in the triumph.

Louis-Charles Vaillancourt (Sherbrooke, QC) recorded the clean sheet in the REDS net.

Adeniyi scored on a blistering shot, in the seventh minute, that ricocheted off the post and behind Mounties' keeper Rhys Chambers (Halifax, NS).

Saengmeng fired a rebound through a maze of legs and into the net in the 35th minute.

Rosettani, named Subway Player of the Game, chipped a ball over Chambers in the 47th minute.

With the win, the REDS improve to 4-1-1 and vault into a tie for second place in the AUS standings.

The Mounties are now 0-5-1.

Up next for the REDS, a Saturday afternoon game against Acadia, at UNB's BMO Centre.

The Mounties return home and prepare to host Cape Breton on Saturday.
