(Sackville, NB) The Mount Allison Mounties defeat the SMU Huskies on home turf for their first win of the 2017 season.

The Mounties start strong, dominating the first half of the game. Katherine Ollerhead scores the first goal of the game, also the first goal of the regular season for MTA.

The Huskies come back strong after halftime, taking the lead in the 65^th minute from Itai Kuwodza and Mary Bennett's goals.

Taryn MacMillan quickly ties the game with her first goal of the season. It is a strong fight from both teams for the duration of the game. Taryn MacMillan breaks away at the 90^th minute and scores, winning the game 3-2 for the Mount Allison Mounts.
