OSHAWA, Ont. – Despite staying within range of the nationally ranked Ottawa Gee-Gees for much of the night, the No. 3 ranked Gee-Gees earned a 91-60 victory over the Ontario Tech University men's basketball team.
This is arguably the toughest home weekend for the Ridgebacks in their inaugural season against two of the top programs in the country in the Gee-Gees and Ravens.
Saturday's tip-off against the No. 1 ranked Ravens is set for 8 p.m.

Graddy Kanku (Ottawa, Ont.) and
Ammar Hassan (London, Ont.) continued to be offensive leaders dropping 22 and 21 points respectively as the only Ridgebacks in double-digits.
• Calvin Epistola and Thomas Chilton led the Gee-Gees with 19 points each.
• Charles-Antoine Gaba and Kevin Civil scored 12 and 10 points to round out double-digit scoring for the Ravens.

Ammar Hassan had 12 rebounds for his third-straight double-double.

Graddy Kanku had a game-high four blocks, while also leading the Ridgebacks with two steals.
• Calvin Epistola had a game-high six steals for the Gee-Gees.
