BOX SCORE TORONTO (January 28, 2012) - The Gaels (8-8) got the best of the Ryerson Rams (8-9) this Saturday evening in an exciting match. The final score was 75-72.

The Rams came out looking like the better team. In the first quarter they outscored the Gaels 22-11. The Gaels, however, were not going to give up. In the second quarter of action, they held the Rams to only 9 points and dropped 25 themselves.

The second half was less streaky than the first, with constant lead changes. In the third quarter, the Gaels and Rams both scored 15 points. The Rams outscored the Gaels by one in the fourth quarter, but it was not enough as the Gaels held on to their lead for the victory.

Liz Boag of Kingston, Ont. led the Gaels with 17 points. Brittany Moore of Hannon, Ont. added 15. Christine Wallace of North Gower, Ont. added 14 points to go along with six rebounds.

The Gaels are back in action next Friday versus RMC.
