The Voyageurs hosted the Varsity Blues at James Jerome on Saturday night as they looked to stay in the thick of the playoff race.  In a wet and cold affair, it would be the Varsity Blues leaving town with a 1-0 victory.

While each team had opportunities in the first half, very few made it on target and those that did were fairly routine for the keepers.  The game stayed scoreless until the 68th minute when Camilo Siabato found some space in the top corner of the 18 yard box.  Being closed down quickly, he sent a high, looping shot over Ben Firman and into the far corner of the net.  For the remainder of the game, the Varsity Blues locked down the Voyageurs' attack and prevented any quality opportunities.

The men will look to bounce back tomorrow when they host the Toronto Metropolitan Bold at James Jerome at 3:15pm.
