It was back-to-back wins over the Nipissing Lakers for the Voyageurs tonight, with the final score being 64-60. Héléna Lamoureux recorded a game-high 19 points and 14 rebounds and was the driving force in the Voyageurs getting the win.

The game was a complete back and forth battle with seven lead changes in the game. The Voyageurs again struggled with limiting sloppy turnovers against the Lakers, committing a season-high 31.  The ball movement for Laurentian was the key to unlocking their offense tonight and allowing easy baskets for Bailey Tabin and the rest team in the paint. Arielle Douilette and Monica Jean-Baptist were absolute snipers from 3 tonight, with each hitting three.

The game was tied 60-60 with 1:50 left and Lamoureux was sent to free throw line, connecting on one of her two shots.  On the following possession for the Lakers, Bailey Tabin made a huge block to stop the Lakers go ahead bucket and then ran the floor and received a dime from Lamoureux to secure the game for the Voyageurs.

The team record is now 6-4, ranking them fourth in the standings in the East division. The team's next game is on February 23rd at 6pm when they host the York Lions.
