OSHAWA, Ont. – Despite being within 10 against the No. 4 ranked Carleton Ravens in the third quarter of Saturday night's game, the Ontario Tech University women's basketball team fell 69-42.
The Ridgebacks led 15-14 after a quarter, but were outscored in the final three quarters including a dominant 18-1 fourth for the Ravens.
Saturday ends three straight games against nationally ranked opponents as the Ridgebacks now prepare to hit the road for their weekend against the Windsor Lancers and Western Mustangs.
Tip-off is scheduled for 6 p.m. on Friday.

Dalyssa Fleurgin (Montreal, Que.) finished with her first career double-double, dropping 17 points with 15 boards. She was 5-for-19 from the floor and a perfect 7-for-7 from the line.

Vanessa Budimunda (Montreal, Que.) was the only other Ridgeback in double-digit scoring with 14 points on 5-for-6 shooting.
• Carleton's offence was led by Madison Reid's 15 points, while three other starters finished in double digits.
• Alyssa Cerino had a game-high five steals, while Fleurgin had four to lead the Ridgebacks.
• Madison Reid and Marlee Ball each had two blocks for the Ravens, with Ball also leading her team with eight boards.
