OSHAWA, Ont. – The Ontario Tech University women's basketball team continued to work through their tough inaugural season schedule on Wednesday night at home as they fell 82-33 to the No. 6 ranked Ryerson Rams.
Ryerson was dominant at the offensive end of the court shooting 42.7 per cent from the field, including 42.3 per cent from beyond the arc. They also pulled in 15 offensive boards.
Ontario Tech struggled offensively, shooting only 23.1 per cent from the field and 16.7 per cent from three.
The Ridgebacks will hope to earn the program's first victory on Saturday night at home during their first-ever Shoot for the Cure game. They host the Toronto Varsity Blues at 6 p.m.

Vanessa Budimunda (Montreal, Que.) led the Ridgebacks with seven points apiece.
