The Dalhousie women's soccer team beat Université de Moncton 6-0 on October 7, at Wickwire Field.

The Tigers got off to a quick start as second year midfielder Megan Chiasson (Lower Sackville, NS) opened the scoring in the first minute of play, which was quickly followed up with another Dalhousie goal from first year striker Elise Evans (Toronto, ON), her third goal of the season. The Tigers managed to score again before halftime as third year striker Kaitlyn Woodworth (Bridgewater, NS) found the back of the net.

Dalhousie netted another three goals in the second half coming from first year striker Jordan Mansfield (Vancouver, BC), followed by second year midfielder Inari Moore (Whitby, ON), and third year striker Chloe Richardson (Calgary, AB) who also had an assist in the game.

Fourth year Moncton goalkeeper Chesea Burnham (St. John, NB) managed to make 14 saves in an impressive effort, the Dalhousie attack just proved to be too much.

It was a chilly night at Wickwire but Dalhousie certainly found a way to heat up, as they moved to 5-0-2, while UdeM remains winless on the season.

Taylor Heard (Ottawa, ON) was named the Subway Player of the Game for her hard work in the game.

The Aigles Bleues continue their Halifax road trip on Saturday when the face off against Saint Mary's. Kick off is set for 5pm.

The Tigers have the rest of the weekend off. They return to action next Friday when they host Saint Mary's at Wickwire Field at 5pm.
