Moncton delivers 3-1 loss to Axemen

WOLFVILLE, N.S. – Jonathan Kisse's (Toronto, Ont.) goal at the 61st minute would be the eventual game-winner as the visiting Moncton Aigles Bleues picked up a 3-1 win and their fourth victory of the season.

Kisse was named the AUS Subway Player of the Game for his goal and assist along with his effort of landing two shots on goal in the win over the Axemen.

Acadia's Toni Adeoye (Dartmouth, N.S.) scored his fourth goal of the season, 20 minutes into the game. Adeoye grabbed a loose ball at the top of the box and caught the top right corner of the net to give Acadia the early lead. Adeoye was named Acadia's Player of the Game.

With a 1-0 lead into the halftime break, Acadia gave up an early second-half goal when Jonathan Kisse planted a beautiful cross to teammate Mohamed Lamine (Moncton, N.B.) for the tying goal.

Twenty minutes later in the 61st minute, Kisse would add a goal of his own to give Moncton their first lead of the match.

After 90 minutes, in extra time and with Acadia pressuring hard to tie the game, Abraham Manuel (Moncton, N.B.) was able to get a shot off 30 yards out, as Acadia's defenders and keeper raced back to their half of the field.

The Axemen had nine corner kick opportunities to Moncton's four.
