WINDSOR, Ont. – The Ontario Tech University women's basketball team led midway through the opening quarter on Friday night, but turnovers became a problem as the Windsor Lancers pulled away en route to a 91-44 win.
Ontario Tech finished the game with 22 turnovers, while Windsor only had nine and were able to score 26 points off the Ridgebacks turnovers.
The tough stretch against top squads in the OUA will continue tomorrow night as Ontario Tech faces the 6-1 Western Mustangs in London. They'll then return home to face the Ryerson Rams on Wednesday night.

Dalyssa Fleurgin (Montreal, Que.) finished with a team-high 14 points for the Ridgebacks on 6-for-11 shooting. She was the lone Ontario Tech player in double digits.
• Jordan Gutt had a game-high 22 to lead Windsor, while two others were in double digits with 14 points apiece.
• Windsor outrebounded Ontario Tech 45-32, led by a game-high nine by Gutt.
• The Ridgebacks were led by
Katherine Onunkwo (Ajax, Ont.) and
Vanessa Budimunda (Montreal, Que.) with six apiece.
