Student Housing Calgary named presenting partner of the 2026 U SPORTS Men’s Basketball Final 8
U SPORTS announced today that Student Housing Calgary has been named the Presenting Partner of the 2026 U SPORTS Men’s Basketball Final 8, to be held March 5 to 8, 2026 in Calgary, Alberta.
The national championship will be hosted by the University of Calgary and contested at Jack Simpson Gymnasium, bringing eight of the top men’s basketball programs in the country together to compete for the W.P. McGee Trophy.
As one of U SPORTS’ flagship championships, the Men’s Final 8 delivers 11 games across four days, highlighting the highest level of university basketball in Canada. With Calgary as host city, the championship will combine elite competition with a vibrant campus setting and a strong basketball culture.
