1977 – Western 48 Acadia 15
1977 saw a repeat of the 1976 Acadia-Western match up, and Western proved to be the dominant team of the 1970s with its fourth Vanier Cup win.
The Mustangs rolled to a 48-15 win on six touchdowns, setting records for most touchdowns and points in a Vanier Cup contest.
Mustang quarterback Jamie Bone had a banner day, completing 80% of his passes for four touchdowns.
Teammate Bill Rozalowsky added 177 yards on the ground and earned his second consecutive Ted Morris Memorial Trophy Award.
