BLUES HOST ANNUAL SHARON ANDERSON MEET

The University of Toronto Varsity Blues track and field team hosted their annual Sharon Anderson Memorial Meet on Saturday, January 7 at the Athletic Centre Field House.
 
In women's action, fifth-year veteran Amina Sherif won the women's pole vault, clearing a personal best height of 3.71m. Ekua Cudjoe kicked off the day winning both the women's weight throw (16.49m) and shot put (11.84m), while Laura Amoi won the women's triple jump (10.93m) and placed fifth in the women's long jump (5.04m)
 
On the men's side, Ezana Debalkew started off the morning with a win in the men's weight throw (16.56m), while also placing second in the shot put (13.89).
 
Jonathan Yue finished third in the men's high jump, clearing 1.85m, while Alexander Lau finished third in the men's 60m dash, crossing the finish line in 7.00 seconds, and third in the men's pole vault, clearing 4.30m.
