KINGSTON, Ont. - The men's hockey team suffered their third consecutive loss after falling 2-1 versus the Carleton Ravens Tuesday night at the Memorial Centre in Kingston. The game marked their first at home in the 2015 portion of their schedule.

The Gaels found themselves in a physical and fast paced game against their counterparts from Carleton with each team not giving up an inch of ice. The Ravens were the first to hit the scoresheet as they jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the opening frame on goals from Joe Pleckaitis and Damian Cross.

The Gaels found the board in the opening minutes of the middle period as Kelly Jackson (Scarborough, Ont.) collected the tally after hustling down the ice to create an odd-man rush rush. Blair Wentworth (Calgary) registered the lone assist on Jackson's fourth of the season. The play came just after Gaels netminder Kevin Bailie (Belleville, Ont.) made one of his 38 saves on the night to keep Queen's in the game.

The Gaels finished the third period strong and had several quality scoring opportunities in the final frame but could not find the equalizer.

Final shots for the night totalled 40 to 25 in favour of Carleton. Bailie, who was honoured pre-game as the Murray Douglas scholarship recipient, started in net for the Gaels and was charged with the 38 save loss while Patrick Killeen of the Ravens earned the 24 save victory.

The Gaels (8-7-1) return to action Friday night when they travel to Toronto to take on the York Lions (6-10-1).
