Why is he a player to watch in 2015? Leader of team for a number of years or player on the verge of breakthrough season? Entering draft year? Maybe a quote from a coach, etc.

In his debut season with the UBC Thunderbirds, Marcus Davis established himself as one of the best offensive players in the entire CIS.

He was named the Canada West Rookie of the Year and earned a place on both the Canada West All-Star Team and the CIS First All-Canadian Team. In fact, Davis was the lone rookie to be named a First Team All-Canadian.

He lead the Canada West in all-purpose yards (1,293 yards, 161.6 yards/game), which was good for fourth in the nation. The Victoria, B.C., native led the entire CIS in kickoff return average (31.8 yards/return), and was second in the nation in punt return yards (558 yards).

An electrifying player with the ability to score on every single play, Davis finished the season with 159 rushing yards, 162 receiving yards, 558 punt return yards, and 414 kickoff return yards. He also scored six touchdowns, two rushing, two receiving, one on a punt return and one on a kickoff return.

Quote from UBC head coach Blake Nill:
"Marcus Davis is one of the most dynamic football athletes in the CIS. An amazing athlete, this young man has both the physical skill and technical skill to create mismatches versus opponents.
