University of Alberta Golden Bears wide receiver Tylor Henry exploded onto the CIS scene as a rookie in 2013, finishing sixth in the country in receiving yards (688), third in receptions (59), both of which led Canada West, and second in CIS all-purpose yards with 1,493. The native of Camrose, Alberta also racked up 371 punt return yards (ninth in CIS) and 399 kick return yards, which led Canada West and was second most in CIS. The speedy wide receiver also broke a U of A record, and picked up the CIS single season high for kick-off return yards, when he broke a 106-yard touchdown run in a game against Manitoba.
Set to enter his sophomore season, and with an established rapport with Golden Bears QB Ryan Schwartz, Henry is poised for an All-Canadian season in 2014, and is a key element in the Golden Bears rebuild. A focal point of the offence, but certainly not the only dangerous weapon in the Alberta schemes, Henry is on pace to blaze up the Canada West and CIS receiving stats once again.
