ANTIGONISH, N.S. - Montreal running back Rotrand Sené had 33 carries for 228 yards and scored a touchdown as the CIS ranked No. 3 Carabins defeated the StFX X-Men 27-10 in Antigonish, NS Saturday afternoon in CIS interlock gridiron action.

Sené also tacked on 28 receiving yards as he earned Player of the Game honors. In a low scoring first half the Carabins established leads of 3-0 after the first quarter and 8-1 at half-time.

Carabins kicker Alexandre Sy scored three field goals in the victory while Jonathan Beaulieu-Richard recovered a StFX fumble late in the third quarter for a touchdown. A pair of safeties rounded out the scoring for the Carabins.

The highlight of the game for the X-Men was defensive back Dylan Hollohan's 120 yard TD kick return after a missed Carabin field goal. Hollohan's major came halfway through the fourth quarter and pulled the hometown X-Men to within seven points at 17-10, but Sy's final field goal of the game and Sené's late one-yard touchdown run sealed the win for Montreal.
