MONTREAL (CIS) – The Alberta Golden Bears and Toronto Varsity Blues moved on to the men’s final of the Canadian university tennis championship on Friday.
Alberta, playing in its seventh straight tournament, breezed by the University of Montreal 6-1 in the semifinals, winning five of six singles matches, while Toronto defeated McGill 5-2. The consolation and championship matches take place Sunday.
