CIS championships: 15 schools bid to host soccer, volleyball events

OTTAWA (CIS) – Canadian Interuniversity Sport announced Thursday the reception of bid proposals from 15 universities to host national championship events over the next two academic years.

This latest round of bidding was for CIS tournaments in women’s soccer (2015 and 2016), men’s soccer (2015 and 2016), women’s volleyball (2016 and 2017) and men’s volleyball (2016 and 2017).

The CIS championship selection committee will meet over the next few weeks to review the bids, and all hosts will be announced by mid-October.
