Dalhousie Tigers – 3 vs Moncton Aigles Bleues – 0 (25-17, 25-14, 25-22) 

The U SPORTS No. 5 ranked Dalhousie Tigers remain undefeated and improve to 7-0 win a convincing 3-0 win over Moncton.  

Julie Moore led the Tigers with eight kills and a hitting percentage of 0.500 and was awarded the Subway Player of the Game award for her performance that also included nine digs. 

Tied at three early in the opening set, the Tigers pushed away with kills by Moore and teammate Mieke DuMont throughout the first set, giving Dalhousie a 20-12 lead and an eventual 25-17 win.  

Posting an early six point run, the Tigers doubled the Aigles Bleues output at 18-9 and wrapped up the set at 25-14 on scoring by committee and Moncton errors. 

An interesting third and final set was marred by Tiger errors and Aigles Bleues aggressive play at the net. Moncton kept the set close, tied with Dalhousie at 22 in the closing minutes of the set. A service ace by Moncton's Ivana Urquhart plus an attack error followed by kill by Pascale Doiron, tied the game at 22.  

A Moncton service error and kills by Julie Moore and Lauren Koskowich ended the third and final set at 25-22. 

Moncton's Joanie Arsenaul led the Aigles Bleues with six kills and Doiron led Moncton with 17 digs.  

Moncton will take on Memorial tomorrow morning at 11:00 am at Horton High School, while the Tigers will take on UNB at the same time at Acadia.
