There would be no scoring in the third period and the final buzzer would signal the end of the game as well as the season for the Voyageurs. The outcome of the season is not what the Vees were hoping for as they missed the playoffs. However, they will be motivated by the result will look to rebuild and regroup over the summer.

The Voyageurs will say goodbye to their loyal veterans who are graduating this year and will not be returning next season. The door will now be open to the younger crop of Voyageurs to fill the void left by the returning players and will hit the ice in September poised to build off of this season.
