KINGSTON, Ont. – Christopher Jaggarnath (Scarborough, Ont.) tallied a pair of goals for the UOIT men's soccer team to lift them to a 2-1 victory over the RMC Paladins and back-to-back wins.
The goals are Jaggarnath's second and third goals of the season. His three goals this year also continue his best season with UOIT offensively, as he only had one OUA goal prior to 2018.
After Liam Chambers opened the scoring for RMC in the 21
st minute, Jaggarnath answered with a goal just five minutes later.
His game-winning goal didn't come until the 63
rd minute.
Nicholas Miller (Oshawa, Ont.) made six saves in his second win of the OUA season. UOIT finished with five shots on goal in the match.
The victories keep the Ridgebacks' playoff dreams alive as they prepare for important matches against the Laurentian Voyageurs and Nipissing Lakers next weekend at home.
Kick off for both matches is 2:15 p.m. at Vaso's Field.
