RMC vs Queen's Friday - 2018/10/05

Kingston, ON - RMC (2-8-2) jumped ahead early and held on for a 1-1 tie with Queen's (6-5-1) on Friday afternoon on Navy Bay 5.

Liam Chambers scored his third goal of the year on a beautiful strike to give the Paladins the lead.

A Queen's player went down with a leg injury in the first half. He was able to stand on his own and put weight on his leg before going in the ambulance.

In the elongated stoppage time due to the injury, Queen's earned a penalty. Michael Chang scored with a shot to the bottom right corner.

Halftime

The game was tied 1-1 at the break.

Andrew Cameron was one of four Paladins to pick up a yellow card in the final 45 minutes.

Paladins keeper Jonathan Ardell made six saves in the match, stopping all four shots in the second half.

After earning a tie, RMC goes on the road for an important trip to Nipissing and Laurentian October 13 and 14.
