It was a battle from start to finish and the Cape Breton University Capers and Dalhousie Tigers would settle for a 2-2 draw Saturday in AUS men's soccer action at the Cape Breton Health Recreation Complex on the CBU campus.
Justin Maheu with his fourth of the year in the 11th minute and Ian Greedy in the 61st minute scored for the Capers, now 1-2-1 on the year.
Bezick Evraire had both goals for Dalhousie, tallying in the 48th and 56th minute.
Maheu and Evraire now share the AUS goal scoring lead with four apiece on the year.
Josh Lines made two saves in the Cape Breton goal while Dalhousie counterpart Jason Ross stopped five shots sent his way.
CBU will be back in action at home Sunday when they take the field against the Mount Allison Mounties in a 3:15 p.m. start.
