WINNIPEG - With the Duckworth Challenge well underway at the University of Manitoba’s Investor’s Group Athletic Centre, the men’s basketball teams hit the court as the Manitoba Bisons defeated the Winnipeg Wesmen 99-80.

Manitoba was led in scoring by Kurtis Sansregret, with 21 points, while Dominique Brown, put back 21 for the Wesmen. 

With the results of the game, the Bisons climb to 4-4 on their season, while the Wesmen will fall to 2-6.

Both teams resume conference play with road games on the weekend of January 6-7, 2012.
