On Friday night, the Voyageurs women's hockey team were shutout 3-0 by the U of T Varsity Blues.
The Blues opened the scoring at 7:03 of the first period when Christina Chao scored on the powerplay to go up 1-0.
The second period was scoreless despite the Vees outshooting the Blues 6-3.
The Blues added their second of the game at 8:05 of the third as Lauren Straatman found the back of the net to double their lead 2-0. The Blues added their third and final as Kassie Roach scored at 9:43.
The Vees were unable to start any sort of come back and would eventually be shutout 3-0. Looking to rebound from the loss, the Vees travel to Ryerson tomorrow to get back into the win column as they push for the playoffs.
