Tigers Sweep Weekend Series Over Sea-Hawks

(St. John's, NL) The Dalhousie Tigers took care of business on Sunday afternoon at The Field House earning a weekend sweep over the Sea-Hawks.  The win pushed Dalhousie's record to 10-4 on the season, while the Sea-Hawks remain winless at 0-14.

The Sea-Hawks jumped out to a quick start on the Tigers, taking the first set 25-22. But the Tigers were able to regroup and take the next three sets.

Matthew Donovan was the leader for the Tigers, supplying 10 kills, 12 digs, and 12 points in the win. Adam Spragg posted 32 assists.  Spragg distributed the ball well for the visitors, finding 6 different players for kills on the day.

Jordan Murray had one of his better games of the season for the Sea-Hawks.  Murray finished with a game-high 16 kills and 17.5 points. He was also led his team in digs with 14.  Liam Power registered 9 kills and 11.5 points in the loss.

Both teams head to Laval, Quebec next weekend for AUS-RSEQ Interlock action. The matches will be the last of the season for the Sea-Hawks who failed to make the playoffs.
