RMC vs Guelph Saturday - 2018/10/20

Kingston, ON - RMC (2-4) suffered a 4-0 defeat to the Guelph Gryphons (2-1-2) at Constantine Arena on Saturday night.

Guelph gained the lead late in the first period on the power play, when Connor Bramwell scored his first of the game.

1st Intermission

RMC was behind 1-0 after 20 minutes.

Early in the second period, RMC goalie Brad Van Schubert stopped a penalty shot from Guelph's Tryg Strand.

Midway through the period, Bramwell got his second of the game, followed by another Guelph goal from Nick Boyer.

2nd Intermission

With 20 minutes left, Guelph led RMC 3-0.

Guelph's Scott Simmonds scored the final goal of the game late in the third, with Bramwell picking up the assist.

RMC goalie Brad Van Schubert set a new career-high with 49 saves on Saturday.

Next weekend, RMC makes the long trip to play Lakehead (2-2) for a pair of games.
