Women's Volleyball loses pair over weekend

Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 The Lancer women's volleyball team lost a pair of home games to the Ryerson Rams and Toronto Varsity Blues over the weekend.
 
With the losses, the Lancers fall to 4-9 on the season heading into the final weeks of the regular season.
 
On Friday against the Rams, Ryerson came out strong and built a sizeable lead that the Lancers were unable to overcome. In the second, Windsor built a 19-9 lead before letting it slip away to the Rams falling 22-25.
 
In the third, Windsor pushed for a comeback and nearly evened the score at 22-23, but after a Rams time-out, the visitors regained their composure and took the set, and game, 25-22.
 
Shannon Dean once again led the Blue & Gold with 9 kills and 5 digs.
 
On Saturday, the Lancers face the only undefeated team in the CIS in the Varsity Blues.
 
The visitors dominated the game and the Lancers fell 3-0 (15-25, 14-25, 6-25) to the No. 4 ranked team in Canada.
 
Windsor will travel to Kingston next weekend where they will take on the Queen's Gaels (10-4) on Friday and the RMC Paladins (2-12) on Saturday.
