BOX SCORE KINGSTON, Ont. (November 11, 2011)  - The Gaels could not find an answer to the three point attack from the No. 4 Lakehead University's Ben Johnson. After keeping the contest close in the first two quarters the Gaels would eventually fall 84-52.

In the first half of play, the Gaels were neck and neck with the Thunderwolves. Queen's went into the second half ahead 28-27. The Gaels shot an impressive 55% from the field in the first half. The second half however, was all Lakehead. The Gaels had a hard time finding the bottom of the net, shooting only 32% from the floor and 62% from the line. A nine point third quarter put the Gaels in a hole they could not get themselves out of. 

Ben Johnson of Lakehead hit 5 three pointers in the second half, as he led the 57 point barrage in the second half. The Thunderwolves shot 55 % from beyond the arc. 

Ryan Golden of Barrie, Ont. led the charge for the Gaels with 12 points. Mackenzie Simpson of Ottawa chipped in 10.

The Gaels are back in action at home tomorrow versus the Guelph Gryphons. Tipoff is set for 8:00.
