(HALIFAX, N.S.) - It was a goal late in the game by Saint Mary's Ishraq Hassan that gave the Huskies the victory over the visiting Sea-Hawks on Friday night in AUS men's soccer.
The first half remained scoreless, with an equal number of attempts from both sides. In the second half the game things started to get chippy as Memorial picked up a red card, and Saint Mary's a yellow.
With eight minutes remaining in the game, it was Hassan of Saint Mary's that netted the only goal of the match.
It was a hard fought game from both sides, with seven shots on goal respectively.
