The Voyageurs were able to add another win to their collection tonight in Hamilton after their 89-67 victory over the McMaster Marauders.
Typically known for their 3 point game strength, the team struggled tonight from beyond the arc shooting 27.3% , resorting to the paint where they dominated inside. Kadre Gray and Nelson Yengue finished strong in the key with 22 and 20 points respectively. Gray also had 5 rebounds in the game.
Another key to the Voyageurs' triumph was their ability to finish at the foul line. The team visited the charity stripe 25 times, connecting on 20 of their attempts for an 80% success rate.
Miles Seward was the top scorer for the Marauders with 26 points.
