It was a tough night for the Voyageurs who faced up against Ontario's top ranked Carleton Ravens in Ottawa. Though the first quarter was competitive, Carleton came out strong with a 32-6 spread in the second quarter which seemed to set the tone going into the second half. The Ravens, who have dominated the league in recent years, ultimately ended up coming out on top with a final score of 89-36.

Once again a major issue for the team was in defending the paint. This was a specific problem in the Carleton match up due to senior 6'3" forward Heather Lindsay who had 23 points and 12 rebounds in the game.

The Raven's shooting percentage likewise was a problem for Laurentian, as they shot 50% from the field compared to the Voyageurs' 24% success rate - a difficult obstacle to overcome.

Top performer for the Voyageurs was senior forward L'Ashante Henry who had a game high contribution of 18 points and 5 rebounds.

Laurentian will look to regroup and focus on tomorrow night's match up where they'll face off against the home team University of Ottawa Gee-Gees at 6 pm.
