Huskies and Panthers end up in 2-2 tie

At Huskies Stadium, it was a back and forth battle all game with both teams being fairly evenly matched.  UPEI got things started in the 20th minute with a goal from Kieran Dutton and didn't stop there as SMU keeper Adam Miller made several big saves to keep the Huskies in it.

Saint Mary's managed to tie things up before the end of the half with a strike from Ashwin Phatak to knot things at 1-1.  In the 2nd half Saint Mary's fell behind again as UPEI substitute Harminder Singh put one past Miller in the 57th minute.

The Huskies continued to battle back though as a great pass from Ryan Hogg to William Kennedy in the 76th minute created enough space for Kennedy to get the equalizer and salvage a point for the Huskies.

The Saint Mary's Huskies will look to regroup over the Thanksgiving break in order to take on the visiting CBU Capers on Oct 18th in an effort to get back into the playoff races.
