The first was the tightest battle, with the Aigles Bleus outshooting the Huskies 9-7. A power-play goal by Garlent assisted by Calder Brooks (Emerald Park, Sask.) and Jake Coughler (St. Catharines, Ont.) and Robillard's unassisted tally made it 1-1 after twenty.

At even strength - Repaci picked up his first 4:36 in. Dylan DiPerna (Nobleton, Ont.) and Garlent picked up helpers on the play.

Another power-play marker, this one by Beaton assisted by Alexander Peters (Blyth, Ont.) and Repaci, made it 3-1 Huskies with just under five-minutes left in the frame.

The Huskies outshot the Aigles Bleus 11-3 in the middle period.

The ice was tilted for the home side in the third, with the Huskies scoring four times in the first 10:29.

Latour got it started with an unassisted shorty 1:57 in.

Repaci, set up by Garlent and Aaron Berisha (Mississauga, Ont.), followed that up with another shorthanded strike at the 4:12 mark.

The last two goals came at five-on-five. At the 5:35 mark Garlent found the net for the second time. Berisha and Coughler each picked up their second assists of the game on the play.
