The Cape Breton University Capers dropped their second consecutive game Saturday, falling 1-0 to the visiting Memorial Sea-hawks in AUS women's soccer action at the Cape Breton Health Recreation Complex on the CBU campus.
Emily Bailey had the lone goal for the Sea-hawks, scoring in the 55th minute as the visitors improved to 5-3-0 and moved past CBU into third in the AUS standings.
The Capers who scored 17 goals in their first four conference games have now managed just two in their last four. At 4-3-1, the Capers now sit in fifth spot overall.
Jamie Crocker made two saves in the Memorial goal for the win. Tiffany O'Donnell had seven saves for the Capers.
CBU will return to action Sunday when they host the second place Acadia Axewomen in a 1 p.m. start.
