Box Score The Lancer men's hockey team extended their win streak to four games after a convincing 5-2 victory over the Laurier Golden Hawks on Friday night at South Windsor Arena.

With the win the Lancers remain undefeated with a 4-0 record, while the Golden Hawks fall to 1-2-0 on the year.

Spencer Pommells had an outstanding game for the Blue & Gold with a four point performance, finishing with 2 goals and 2 assists.
Ryan Green picked up 3 points in the game with 1 goal and 2 assists.
Parker Van Buskirk turned away 23 shots for the Lancer's while Laurier's Christopher Festarini had 32 saves in the game.

The Lancers opened up the scoring 3:27 into the first period on a powerplay goal scored by
Saverio Posa, with assists credited to Pommells and
Kenny Bradford. Later on in the frame, Laurier tied it up as Zach Lorentz beat Van Buskirk. Windsor outshot the Golden Hawks 12-6 in the first period.

The Lancers scored the only goal in the second, as Pommells put one past Festarini. Windsor then went on to kill three penalties in the period to hold a one goal lead heading into the third period. Van Buskirk turned away all eight shots he faced in the frame.

The Golden Hawks came out hard to start the third period as Ryan Lopes scored 2:18 minutes in on a powerplay after
Kyle Hope was sent to the box for tripping.

The Lancers quickly retook the lead as Pommells scored his second of the game with assists being credited to Green and
Matt Beaudoin. Green scored the Windsor's fourth goal to put them up 4-2 with a beautiful pass from Pommells and Bradford. Beaudoin then added an empty net goal with 1:32 remaining to secure the win.
