Brooke Siddall (Windsor, ON) earned her second win of the season for the Gryphons.

"I'm happy with a full 60 minute effort today. We were very focused on our second period play because traditionally it's been a weak period for us. Today the second period was our best period," said Coach Rachel Flanagan. "It's also great that our defence contributed so well on offense today, earning four points and shutting the Lions down in the neutral zone. Rookies Parkins and Grant also combined for four points giving them each five points respectively on the season."

The Gryphons will be back in action next Saturday, October 13 when they travel to Windsor to take on the Lancers. The puck is scheduled to drop at 4:10 p.m.
